Is it fair?

Hey guys!

Have you ever gotten back your exam results and when you compare it to the laziest kid in class and he actually does better than you? 

Or have you ever did something good or worth praising and someone else comes along and steals your credit? 

Life's not fair, isn't it?

Me being me, I've always asked myself this question. But is there a definite answer? 

Is life fair? 

I was told before that life is never fair. What a scumbag right?

Why don't we break the question and focus on the word " fair ". 

Fair is often viewed as equal, justified or even unbiased. 

But as men ( and women ), we view " fair " as," why does the other person get better benefit than me? " 

We will never say," hey that's not fair, why do I get better things than him? "

But we'll always say," hey that's not fair, what about me? " 

Hey hey, did I hit the spot? Haha! 

Is it so often that the topic about " fair " is about three persons. Me, Myself and I. 

We often let our importance surpasses others, it's always me me and me. 

What about me? Where's my part of the deal? When is it my turn? Why is it me? 

Fairness should never be used to judge how things are done especially for selfish purposes. 'Cause if you wanted to compare what's fair and what's not, everything is never fair. 

Bringing back the topic: is life fair? 

In my point of view, there's always two way to see it.

1. Life is always fair. 

2. Life is never fair. 

Doesn't this question link to the half cup question? Is it half filled or half empty? 

In some sense, it does. But what I'm trying to bring out that fairness depends on how you view it. 

Let's bring out my favorite YouTubers. 

Shane Dawson and Pewdiepie. 

Before I go anywhere, I would like to point out that this two YouTubers are two of my few favorites. And I am subscribed to Shane when he was in his beginnings, before he was the most subscribed channel in YouTube. And I was subscribed to Pewds when he was at 80,000 subscribers. So I subscribed to them before they were cool. 

  Shane was the first few channels that started along with YouTube in 2006, the thing that he does that make fans LOL and probably why the haters hate him is that he doesn't hold back. When he makes a video, he goes all out. That's what I like about him and well, my motto, always go all out, don't hold back. That is if you're donating blood, hold some back. Haha! ( I need better jokes... ) 

I admit there was a time when he videos became rather boring when he emphasis a lot about the message or the story. However, as he continues to make videos, I think he got his game back on and I'm proud to say that I was with him from the beginning. :D

On the other hand, PewDiePie! He has been the fastest ever growing channel I've ever seen and I am a huge YouTube user . He started his channel not too long ago and when I subscribed to him when was at just 80,000 subscribers, I thought that hitting 2 million was just about it for a gaming channel. But whenever I check the chart for most subscribed channel, Pewds has been winning other channels that has been on YouTube a long long time. He is now at 9 million bros.

I think that the reason why PewDiePie has these achievement is because he doesn't just stick to one game like many gaming channel does. As well as the fact that he makes boring games to a rather funny and interesting one. (FYI, I completed the whole of his Last Of Us game plays, and that shit was very very long) 

Now, try to think in Shane's position. He started in 2006, and now he's at 4 million subscribers. ( that's a good number, a lot of channels that are good can't even hit a million ) but Pewdiepie started later and he is winning by 5 million subscribers. 

Is it fair for Shane? Is it fair for Pewdiepie is growing so fast? 

Maybe to Shane's fan, they would say that it's not fair since Shane worked really really hard and for a long time. 

But for Pewd's fan, they can say that it's fair Pewds as he is funny and he works hard for his success. ( Sidetrack: Pewds often say he doesn't what his success is when fans wishes him that, to me, growing in fame so fast is a success. ) 

I believe that both of them has their own views and again as I said, fairness and equality depends on how we view it. 

Very often we don't realize the power we have to perceive things. We let our Scumbag brain decide how we feel about things and when goes wrong, we would blame life for not being fair. We like to blame others and feel miserable when we're on the disadvantage side. 

But when we realize that we have the power to perceive things, even the end of the world can be a walk in a park. 

Side track: I really love both Pewds and Shane from the bottom of my heart. They are those few celebrities that really care about the fans and tries their best to connect to them. I also admire their effort and hard work they put in to their videos as they do most of the filming, editing and acting by themselves. Don't feel hesitant to subscribe to them, they're awesome!
