Have you ever felt that you need to give your very best for the task given to you?
I was a Head of Department for logistics when I was in the Boys' Brigade. ( A school organization, a uniform group. ) ( and I still am, though as a volunteer. )
Holding that position, I was often tasked with huge events, responsibilities. Of course, being the ambitious me, I would do my best because doing so would help me in promotions!
However, that encouraged me to do my best or give it my all when tasked with responsibilities. Be it big or small, with a reward or none, tough or easy.
However time to time, thanks to that strange habit if mine, I would often get angry when others give a " I don't give a shit " attitude.
Speaking of which, I recently saw the king of " I don't give a shit ".
I was dining with my Mum at a coffee shop the other night, we were enjoying the company of each other and this happens.
We were done with our meals and usually cleaners will come and clear the dishes.
We didn't really bother with it, but after a while I realized that the dishes were still there after like an hour. ( I mean since we live in Singapore, we talk about efficiency here. And an hour is a long long time )
Then I spotted the cleaner, so I signaled him to help with the clearing. He obviously made eye contact with me ( not making a romance novel here ), he blatantly pretend to not see me and turned his head.
My Mum being the nice person ( also, she's a waitress, so she understands how a cleaner feels. ) she helped cleaned up the mess and left with one pile of stacked plates.
Some thing like this.
So all there's to do was to collect!
I being the annoying prick, I continued to stare at him. That "hardworking" cleaner just stood there and enjoyed the view.
Haha, why censor bar when you can have 3D glasses!
Initially, I thought my table was the only one, it was freaking EVERYWHERE! All tables were dirty and to be honest, it wasn't even a peak timing, so there wasn't a lot if customers.
I was complaining to my Mum about him, but my Mum explained why he would have the " I don't give a shit " attitude.
First, he might be tired. I mean to be fair, it happens to all of us. I remember I can be so drained that I couldn't do shit.
Secondly, the boss might be over-working him. Honestly, I knew the boss of the coffee shop, and he is a super cheapskate. Mr Miser if I may say.
However, be it reasonable or not, I really do not expect such cases as it really ruins the mood for anyone.
Also, this coffee shop is a rip-off. Their things are the price of meals at a food court. So I expect some sort of decent service. ( at least cleaning of plates right? )
Alright, I know this post might seem like a complain post. And... It is. Haha!
If you guys like, I might make a " Singaporean complains " section.
So follow me in twitter and Instagram @awesome_jasper!
Before I get anywhere further, I would wanna apologize.
What the hell am I apologizing about?
Prepare for some bravery shit!
I have to admit that my English isn't that good, or any good in fact. Well, I have Chinese blood in me! haha, stop stereotyping! However, I did grew up in a Chinese-speaking family, so my English might not be as well written( typed ) as other language.
Well, to improve your reading experience, I've learned a new technique! DOING DRAFTS.
I know I sound stupid 'cause I sound like I'm introducing something very extraordinary.
Well, I'm a lazy ass, I don't like do extra work like drafting. So if time to time there's a mistake made, I don't really realize it. Thus I'm really sorry about it. THOUSAND APOLOGIES!
So I look forward to your comments( Not that there is any ) from your experience with my blog. I really wanna hear from you guys, but there's only how much i can hear from you. So tweet me! ( Whoring my twitter account: @awesome_jasper! ) I think that's like the new Facebook? ( haha screw Facebook! )
Alright, I will cut to the chase and move on to the topic today, FANS VS. "FANS"
I know all of you sort of understand what I am going to say since I've listed it out.
BUT WAIT!
I will freaking explain why there's a difference between this two 'cause i'm so sick of people confusing this two.
What I hate the most is when people don't understand how to use this word: fan.
Let's use MUSIC as an example.
People says, I'm a music fan! I so can't live without music. I can't sleep without playing my iPod!
You all get what I'm trying to say right?
However when you ask, what are you're views on classical music?
Then you know right?
This is their face. They will be like," Dafuq? That's not music! "
Those aren't music fans. those are fans of a specific band, singer or genre. then for God's sake, why did they claim they are music fan?!
I am a music fan, I have my own personal favorites but i am still open to a wide variety of different genre. I don't condemn artists or genres. Sure time to time i will have my POV( point of view, don't think funny fellas! ), there's bound to be some genres or songs that I can't take it, but generally I'm still open to all different music.
What I hate the most is that when people fires their comments on the person rather than what they do.
See them? Do you know how many haters they get?
What about him? Haha, guess how much hate I'm gonna get when I release this post.
Aim the music, not the artist.
This also applies to all sort of different context, sports fan, drama fans and the list goes on.
For the fun of it, I'll give another example, Sports Fan.
Don't ever say you're a sport fan, if you only watch one type of sports like soccer and you think golf sucks. Worst scenario, you self-acclaimed yourself to be a soccer fan, but you only watch English soccer. (Total douche)
I think what I'm trying to point out is that you should always try to be as specific as you can.
My claim on fans is mainly adapted from the video below.
Beware though, Buckley is an ass, I might be subscribed to him, but there are still times i don't agree with him, it feels like he's just an angry old man.
However, Buckley often brings out out-of-the-box topics to talk about. Sometimes, they are valid points and deserves to talked about, but there are just times where I think he's just an angry old man, sad and alone.
HAHA, try his videos if you're too free.
Moving on!
"Fans"
There's a freaking reason why there's quotation around the word. Instead of just giving you the answer, let's play a game!
Go through the following 10 points, record how many points that you actually do or have.
The "IT" in the points is about what you are a fan of.
1. You are always talking about IT.
2. The only common thing between your friends( NOT BEST FRIENDS! ) and you is IT.
3. Your phone wallpaper is probably pictures of IT.
4. Most people that hates you, is probably because of IT.
5. You get all crazy and mad when IT gets insulted.
6. You force people to like IT.
7. You hate others' favorites that is in the same context. (E.g, Music, Sports)
8. When you're sad or feeling emo, just wanna do or watch it,
9. You have posters of IT.
10. You are addicted to IT.
If you get more than 5, you might fall under this category.
If you got less than three, I <3 you!
I don't know how much hate I'm gonna get from this post, but #yolo right!
The very best example of a "FAN" are Kpop Fans.
( That's it, everyone hates me now. )
Ironically, the man that is gonna talk shit about Kpop Fans is a Kpop Fan.
I used to be crazy about all Kpop songs, I will talk shit about others when they talk shit about Kpop.
I would be angry when my favorite idol gets compared with other idols.
This WAS me! But, I moved on. I think it's good to hear something that you could understand once in a while. ( Yes, I'm asian, but I'm Chinese, not a Korean, There's a difference! )
Back to the topic, " FANS" are freaking scary. Imagine if they can like an idol so much that they are willing to do stupid shit, imagine what they'll do if they hate someone!
But I was never that crazy like most "FANS", I knew where was my limits. Haha, you'll be surprised when you found out that some don't know their limits.
See what I mean:
This was taken from DeeKosh's channel where he made a PARODY of Kpop.
See! When you're too carried away, you forget how to think.
Time to time, "FANS" are freaking perverts or creepers.
This was taken from Christina Grimmie's twitter. This fella is hella creepy.
But I myself is guilty too, D:
This is my precious collection of SNSD Sunny, but I don't freaking FAP as I see these images. I don't play the slideshows and worshiping it. I just like her as an idol.
Maybe more...
Haha, all in all. I think there should be a limit for your own affections towards an idol or other things. 'Cause afterall, if you something happened to you, they wouldn't freaking care! Your Mum( Dad ) cares. So show affections towards them!
Thank you for your time! Stay tune for more next week! Stay awesome and rock on!

I'm posting this post on the mobile app and I'll see how this goes.
Haha! So sorry if it's done badly. :D
Today's topic is "LEPAK".
*from 9Gag Singapore.
To all Singaporeans, we all love to Lepak.
You try asking around la! (Can differentiate Singaporeans and Foreign Worker, 'cause all of them want to earn money and move on. No time to Lepak)
To those that aren't familiar with "LEPAK", it is a Malay word that means Hang out. (Or that's what google translate says.)
See! I didn't lie hor!
But, we singapore teenagers don't use that word as it is. We can use that word as an verb( action word ) or an adjective( descriptive word for people or things ).
For example, I like to dress Lepak ( and I really do )
It means dressed comfortably and casually.
But that doesn't mean wearing your underwear and go out.
To guys, it's usually flip flop, Bermudas and tee shirt. ( High five from guys out there? )
Or we can use it as it is. Lets go Lepak.
It means do nothing, or slack.
A Singaporean favorite past time!
Personally, I like to Lepak( I mean who doesn't? Haha! ), but at times when it's necessary to be serious, I would be serious.
Lepak is good in some ways but too much of Lepaking, you'll just rot your brains.
Where as too serious will tend to get you too uptight. So it's best to get a balance with both Lepaking and being serious.
In this tiny red dot, Lepak might not be an option to some. 'Cause if you Lepak, you'll lose out. We're a asian country, so students would wanna be first and adults would wanna be having a career of theirs.
I believe that someday I'll get so busy that I'll forget how to Lepak and have fun.
So in the meanwhile, why not rot my ass out? Haha!
So tweet me any comments @awesome_jasper and you'll might be on my next post!
If this post goes well, I might end up posting from my phone and that means I'll post more than one post per week!
Thanks for your continuous support, every time you click my link, I cry a bit. HAHA!
Though I might be joking about the crying part, I'm really thankful for coming back, and I know what you guys are thinking:
Calm down! I've been so busy the past few weeks with my studies, that I didn't have time for anything! Sad me right? HAHA!
However, I am really sorry for the lousy excuse. Now without any further delay, let's move on!
First of all, I made a promise of showing tweets of my readers that answered my question.
Well, the winner is Rui Yang!
He is no stranger to me, he's my classmate and a bro of mine. He's the winner since he's the only one that answered my question! Though I am a bit demoralized, I'm also encouraged by it too. To me, it shows their support in my blog. Thanks Man! Feel free to follow him on @PoasmPower!
Well the topic for this entry is one that I have a mixed feeling for. An eye for an eye.
A part of me is strongly against it, but another part of me agrees with it.
One of my friends being sort of the leader in my group of friends, had sort of an impact on me.
Whenever there was some sort of action against him, he would repay the same action. For example, if we punched him as joke, he would punched us back. Though it was meant as a joke, I took that principle and apply it to my life. ( I was a stupid teenager. )
Ever since then, whenever someone did things that were nasty to me, I would make sure to repay it.
Revenge.
That feeling of seeing someone that caused you pain to feel that pain was so good. ( Sadistic me, HAHA! )
BTW, I am a Christian, I love Jesus, and the Bible stated these two verses.
Exodus 21: 24-25
So there's no wrong in revenge right?
WAIT!!
Before I get any angry emails, you have to hear the full story.
I thought about the verses and I concur to it, but recently, I realized how wrong I was.
Before trolls goes," Hey, Jasper says the Bible is wrong. ", that's not what I mean.
When God said this, He meant it as, "what goes around, comes around." The whole chapter was about when one does evil, God Himself will take care of it, so that if someone took your eyes, God will allow some incidents to happen to that man.
I know it starts to feel a bit too biblical for some, please stay, because I'm using the bible in order to bring out a point here. ( PLEASE PLEASE STAY! T.T )
Recently, someone made my life miserable, he took away what meant the world to me. I was so angry, I was so hungry for revenge ( and pizza. HAHA! ), I was analyzing what is important to him, what is his weakness and I was torturing him. ( Remember i am sadistic? )
Then I had this dream.
Before i continue, dreams to Christians are sort of a God's way to communicate with us.
In this dream, I was having a fight with him, I was dominating, but I recall he choking me, I felt breathless, weak and powerless.
I was very puzzled by this dream, then when I was doing some " Research " on him, I had a revelation. I understood what was wrong with me.
Thus, i bring another part of Bible verses, Matthew 5: 38-42.
Basically, this part is about Jesus telling us when someone slaps you on the right cheek, turn and let him slap the other cheek.
Sounds stupid right? I thought so too when I first heard these verses years ago.
However, i understand this part now.
Jesus said this not in a literal sense, but what He means is that when someone hurts you, don't take revenge, instead, let him continue.
Doesn't that result in him becoming more and more of a bully? But when if you pay him back whatever he gave you, will there be an end?
So what if you win this time?
I guess what I'm trying to say is that when someone hurts you, let him. 'Cause if you return the favors, there will be no end. You would end up focusing yourself on revenge and forget those that matters to you.
Whatever the case, I gave up the thought of revenge and I'm much happy now. I can focus more on those that matters to me, like my Mum, my friends, my God.
I know some of you might be in such scenarios, but hang in there or just feel free to talk to me through any social websites!
